Access Statement
The entrance to No54 through the front door comes directly off Bondgate (A170 Thirsk - Scarborough). The front door is 140 cm wide. There is a small lip 100 cm wide and 2cm high to step over. The hall is made of hard flooring and has a rug runner through to the back door. The hall is 95cm wide at its narrowest point and at the end of the hall is the back door 140cm wide.
Turning left on entry you will find the dining room with a doorway 82 cm wide. The flooring is made of flagstone. There is a real fire and also the room is heated by thermostatically controlled radiators. There is a sitting area with bookshelf.
Bedroom 1 - courtyard/ground floor
The bed is 62 cm high from floor to top of the mattress and is 200 cm long x 150cm wide (King size). There is a thermostatically controlled radiator, remote control TV/DVD, Roberts radio and kettle, wall mounted bedside lights which are turned on from behind the bed. The flooring is carpet.
The door from the bedroom to the shower room is 74cm wide. There is a heated towel rail and extractor fan with pull cord. The light switch is operated by pull cord. The shower tray stands 24cm high, with the glass door opening towards you. The wash hand basin and loo are standard. The flooring is quality vinyl.
Bedroom 2 - courtyard/ground floor
Entry is into a sitting area and through this sitting area is the access to the bedroom through a doorway 86cm wide. The sitting room has a standard lamp in the corner operated by switch underneath the shade. There is a thermostatically controlled radiator, remote control TV/DVD. The flooring is carpet.
In the bedroom area there are 2 single wooden sleigh beds with bedside chest of drawers between them. The bedside lamp sits on this chest. The beds are 49cm high from floor to top of the mattress and are 190cm long x 90cm wide. There is a thermostatically controlled radiator, Roberts radio and kettle.
The door from the bedroom to the shower room is 74cm wide. There is a heated towel rail and extractor fan with pull cord. The light switch is operated by pull cord. Bedroom 3- courtyard/ground floor
The step up into this bedroom is as per the other courtyard rooms but is of a slightly deeper width.
The bed is 60 cm high from floor to top of the mattress and is 200 cm long x 150cm wide (King size). This bed is a zip and link bed and can be adapted to form 2 single beds. There is a thermostatically controlled radiator, remote control TV/DVD, Roberts radio and kettle. Bed side lights are situated on each of the bedside tables. The flooring is carpet.
The door from the bedroom to the bathroom is 66cm wide. There is a heated towel rail and extractor fan with pull cord. The light switch is operated by pull cord. The wash hand basin, bath and loo are standard. The flooring is quality vinyl.
Extra Room Information
- All mattresses are pocket sprung.
- Bed linen is Egyptian style cotton
- Duvets are goose down and the pillows are goose down and feather. Synthetic pillows and duvets/sheets and blankets are available, however, please inform us at time of booking.
- Hair dryers and brollies are in all bedrooms, kettles are cordless. Radios are mains operated.
Ground and Gardens
There is a paved split level courtyard which the ground floor bedrooms are situated around, to the rear of the property is a lawned garden with flower beds. Please feel free to use the garden and courtyard at anytime. A gravel path runs from the courtyard to the rear parking area through the lawned garden area. Cars are parked at the owners risk and we can accept no responsibility for accident or damage.
